There's a silly movie.
It's about a lost son of a king,Siegfried. He was lost on water the night his father's kindom was burned down, the night the saxons killed his royal family.
A humble blacksmith found, renamed and raised him.
So 12 years passed and young Eric finds himself getting a bucket of water for the sword his father was crafting.Just so happens that a viking woman was sailing a rock throw away from where the boy was standing.
Brunhild, the woman, queen of Island finds out from her oracle that fire will rain down on earth and there will be the man she will love.
And in that night a meteoroid hits the earth, lighting the sky on its way.
Both Brunhild and Eric venture forth to where it crashed. They meet and engage in a fight. The boy wrestles her down.He was the first one to do so.That convinced the queen that he was that man.
Here comes the silly part:after one night they both love each other so much that she will wait for the day he promised he'll find her in Island.
Well Eric forges a sword from the strange ore he found at the crash site, slays a dragon with it,gets a cursed treasure, fights the Twin Saxon Kings, remembers who he is,drinks a magic potion from the king's sister and falls in love with her, forgeting about Brunhild, becomes the king of Burgand and the curse slays him.
As we can see he always had his balance between good and bad.First he was the son of a blacksmith, poor but sharing a love with the beautifull queen of Island.
Then he loses that love, his foster father and gets a curse. But he has a big treasure,a kingdom and a false love(which is good, not knowing the truth).
Today kings and queens still exist,we all are our own leader.Yet we have no sword,no horse,no kingdom, only our balance.
But what of the ones who lose so many battles that they can't remember their last victory? Do they have a balance? And if so,where is it?What is it?
This is a question we all face at least once.
